A Place To Relax

My husband's grandparents have a log cabin that I finally got to see for the first time last week. I was excited to go because I had heard so many wonderful things about it, like how "it's the perfect place to go and do nothing." I have to say that I agree. My husband and I were talking the other day about what the difference is between relaxing and just being lazy. We came to the conclusion that the difference is how each one makes you feel afterwards. When you've been lazy you feel even more tired and uninspired than ever. When you have truly relaxed, you feel recharged and ready to take on the world. The cabin relaxes me. I love the sweet smelling air, the porch swing, the myriad of trees. Time seems to stop and you feel at peace with yourself. I've decided that I need to find my own place where I can escape and just relax. What's your favorite way to relax?

  2. I like cabins, but.... stamping is my relax time. It truly is a stress reliever. That is unless i'm being rushed through it.

  3. I'm just itching to take Nick and Alli to the cabin. We are going next month and I can hardly wait! I'm so happy that you got to experience the beauty of Alpine, AZ. Did your little one enjoy it, too?
