Fun with Frecklebox

When I was little, I used to love seeing my name in print. I remember going into stores and always looking at those keychains that have names on them and being disappointed that my name was never there. Now that I have a child, I get excited whenever I see his name. And I still love seeing my own - I guess I'm just a kid at heart!

Frecklebox is a wonderful company that makes personalized gifts for kids. You can order books, coloring books, posters, puzzles, stickers, journal books, placemats and growth charts. The first time I visited the site, I was seriously like a kid in the candy store - I wanted it all! Frecklebox generously sent me a personalized book and a puzzle to review and I am absolutely delighted with both items.

I had a hard time choosing which book to get because they all look fabulous. I finally settled on the zoo book shown here.It has my son's name on the cover and I was able to write my own dedication to him on the inside. The book is full of colorful pictures of animals, which he loves. Sprinkled throughout the pages is his name, hidden in the pictures for him to find! My son is still too young to recognize his name, but I am eagerly awaiting the day when I can give this book to him and have him engage in the interactive fun.

This is the design I chose for the puzzle:

Can you tell he likes animals? Again, this is a beautiful puzzle and I'm so excited about it. I really love the fact that with each product, you can input the name you're using and see a sample of how it will look. It's like magic! All of these items would be ideal for party favors and would make terrific gifts as well. Take a look at all the products here.

I'm definitely going to keep visiting Frecklebox. And maybe after I get a few more things for my son, I'll make something for me!

  1. I love the story of how you used to look for your name -I STILL look for it sometimes (it's hard to find, but sometimes it's there!)
