I've always been envious of crafty people - you know, the ones who can create something out of nothing, make their own clothes, and whip up a Halloween costume in a matter of minutes. The only thing I've even sewn are the ribbons on my pointe shoes. There's this really neat site, however called
You Can Make This. The site is dedicated to helping people (crafty or non-crafty like me) enjoy the creative process of making something yourself. For a reasonable fee, you can purchase step-by-step detailed guides to download for fun DIY projects in a wide variety of categories. You can make anything from dolls and toys, hair accessories, jewelry, pillows, and so much more! The
Halloween section is equally impressive so be sure to check it out. I received the
Fancy Filled Tutu e-book to review and while I haven't had a chance to actually make it yet I do believe I can! The directions really are straight forward and simple to understand and I'm looking forward to making my first project.
WANT TO WIN? One winner will receive a fabulous $50 bundle of Halloween downloads. The bundle includes the following e-books:

This is so cute -I'm not naturally crafty, but thank goodness there are things out there like this to help!
ReplyDeleteI have a tree, a kitty cat and a Mexican bandit. The kids are loving that we created them ourselves instead of going out and buying them. We had a lot of fun.
