Make Way for the Baby Bullet

When Bean was a baby, I fed him uh, baby food. The icky kind in jars. I did this because it was convenient and making my own baby food seemed daunting and complicated. That was before I knew about the Baby Bullet. With this super cool baby food making system you can prepare, blend and store an entire week’s worth of healthy food in about five minutes. Not to mention saving a few bucks in the process. Here's what it comes with:

It comes with everything you need - I especially love the date dial storage cups that help you remember what day you make each batch of food. And the happy face is totally cute and makes me smile every time I look at it. Baby Pinga is still too little for baby food, so I flipped through the handy cookbook and found the perfect recipe to make for Bean.

Bean's favorite food in the world is pancakes. Seriously. Whenever we drive by a Denny's he asks for "panpakes." When we're at the grocery store he wants pancake mix. So when I suggested to him that we make pancakes with the Baby Bullet, of course he was excited. To make the "Petite Pancakes" all you need is:

1 cup whole wheat flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup milk

We added these ingredients to the batchbowl and pureed them:

Then we cooked the batter on the skillet,

And then we ate them!

I love that the Baby Bullet is small and compact, especially since our kitchen is tiny. It doesn't take up a lot of space and is easy and convenient to pull out whenever I need it. I can't wait for my baby to grow up a little so I can start making some homemade baby food for her! Read more about the Baby Bullet and get one for yourself here.

*I received a complimentary Baby Bullet for review purposes.

  1. I loved making homemade baby food for both sage and rora. I just used my blender and froze the food in ice cube trays and took them out and stored them in ziploc bags until i was ready to use them. It was great!
