Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort

Every year, our family eagerly anticipates Halloween. The Disneyland Resort invited us to Family Media Day at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure to experience all the spooky fun going on at the parks this season! We started things off with a delightful breakfast at Flo's V8 Café, with a picturesque view of Radiator Springs Racers.
The Chicken Tamale Breakfast is amazing!

The kids are obsessed with Jake and the Neverland Pirates so we took them to see Disney Junior - Live on Stage! We had never seen this show before, and the kids loved all the interaction and fun puppets. This is a great one to see with little ones!

We were treated to a special reception, where we got to meet some Disney villains, eat some treats, listen to music and play some fun games. There was also an amazing pumpkin carver, a  face painter and caricature artist. Bean and Pinga really enjoyed themselves here - it wore Pinga out and she took a nap shortly afterwards!

Pinga wasn't too sure about meeting Maleficent.
Tinkerbell is Pinga's favorite.
Bean couldn't get enough of the games!

We experienced the perfection that is Radiator Springs Racers, and then headed over to Disneyland for some more Halloween fun! The park's seasonal decorations are spectacular. The store window displays are fun to look at, the hand carved pumpkins are so festive and detailed, and we loved seeing all the Disney characters dressed up for Halloween. We had received a fast pass to Haunted Mansion, which was decked out in The Night Before Christmas style. This ride is an absolute must! Bean also went on Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, which I thought might be a little too scary for him but he loved it.

My favorite Disney treat is Dole Whip from the Tiki Juice Bar. This is frozen pineapple deliciousness at its very finest, and is perfect on a hot day!

This stuff is seriously amazing.
Pinga went crazy for the pineapple juice! Also very tasty.

The Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch is an especially wonderful place to stroll, pet some animals, meet Disney characters, eat some good food, play carnival games and watch some entertainment.

We ended our Disney day with a viewing of the Fantasmic! show. The backdrop for this show is absolutely stunning. Taking a peek inside Mickey's imagination is something definitely worth seeing and left a piece of that Disney magic in our hearts.

*A special thank you to Disney for inviting us to experience Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort.
