That's the Bahia Resort Hotel with its lovely views and also where Bloggy Boot Camp San Diego was held. I learned a great deal about blogging and am grateful that I was able to score a last minute ticket to this sold out event! If you've never attended a blog conference before, I recommend this one - those SITS girls are hilarious, genuine, and sound darn good in a microphone. In addition to fabulous speakers, there were some pretty fabulous people in attendance. (By the way, whoever kept bending over stealthily to take pictures of my shoes please leave me a comment. I want to visit your blog!) Anyway, I wanted to highlight a couple of blogs that I discovered from this event because if you're not aware of them, you should be.
Betsy Life focuses on happy, creative living. It's one of the most artistic blogs I've seen, and features yummy, healthy sounding recipes that I can't wait to try out. Apparently she's also a killer baker. She's a local San Diegan (yay!), is a super nice person and strikes me as very intelligent. I look forward to getting to know her better.
Catch My Party is a fun, colorful community of people sharing their parties through personal pages that they create on the site. There are some excellent ideas here, especially for kids parties. The Catch My Party blog features party trends, useful tutorials, giveaways, free printables and much more. Jillian is a real sweetie and I can't wait to use some of her ideas for my kids birthday parties!
Take a moment to check these blogs out and if you like what you see, leave them a comment!
