Eat Your Yoplait

I've never been much of a yogurt person. Growing up, I would try to force it down my throat, but it was never a good experience. It has something to do with the texture I think. However, there was one brand of yogurt that I could tolerate, and it actually tasted pretty good to me. I'm talking about Yoplait, of course.

Fortunately, my 18 month old son loves yogurt and so I don't have to fight with on this issue. This issue here is that there are so many different brands of yogurt out there making it difficult to know which one is the best for him. And since I liked Yoplait as a child, I decided to try out the Yoplait Kids line on him.

The first thing I noticed was that the yogurt seemed slightly thicker than other brands. This is a good thing, because my son likes to feed himself - drippy yogurt is not fun to clean up. I was also pleased to learn that it contains Omega-3 DHA, less sugar, and has cute little cartoon characters printed on the cups. Maybe if there had been cartoon characters on my yogurt, I would have enjoyed it more. My son grabbed his spoon and proceeded to shovel the yogurt into his little mouth. So apparently it passes the taste test as well. I'll be feeding him this from now on!
