Go Ahead, Use MomSpit

Show of hands: How many of you have ever used your own spit to clean your kid's face? Yeah, me too. My son is an extremely messy eater (doesn't help that he hates bibs) and loves to dig his tiny hands in the dirt. Needless to say, I'm constantly wiping dried food, grease, sticky fingers, and other mystery dirt off of him. I feel guilty every time I use a wipe or a tissue just because of how often I do it. And sometimes when we're out, I don't have easy access to the wipes and so I end up using my good old mom spit to do the job. This is hardly sanitary, and I knew there had to be a better solution.

That's where MomSpit comes in. Unlike my saliva, this MomSpit is an alcohol free moussing liquid designed to clean, moisturize and lift your senses with its fresh scent and dirt removing magic. Just rub a quarter size drop in a circular motion to the dirt in question, and watch it work it's magic! No water, soap or kitchen sink required. I was pleasantly surprised that it not only got rid of the food on my son's face in seconds, but also left it feeling smooth and clean. Even better is that it contains no alcohol and is so easy to drop in your diaper bag and have it whenever and wherever you go.

MomSpit is available Unscented, Fig and Green Tea or Lemon and White Tea. To learn where to buy it and for more information visit their website.

  1. Thanks! I am always cleaning my kids up. I read an article about wipes and that it takes 10 years for one wipe to bio-degrade. So now every time I pull out a wipe to clean a face or hands I feel guilty.

  2. Wow! I've been looking for something like this! Do you think you could use it to clean a pacifier and put it back in when out and about? That would be great.

  3. Love this concept. I wonder whether it'll make it into South Africa.

  4. Clever product name...I'll have to check it out. My girls hate it when I try to use my spit to wipe crusties off their mouth. :)

  6. LOL, what a great idea. I am sure any child would prefer this over their mom's spit anyday!
