Maranatha - Peanut Butter Goodness

Peanut butter is one of my favorite things to eat because it's so versatile. Not only is it delicious in a sandwich, but you can make a yummy sauce with it, make cookies, or just eat it straight out of the jar. No matter how you choose to eat it, I know I'm in for a treat. However, with the recent peanut butter recalls, I've become a little more concerned about what I put in my mouth.

I was recently introduced to Maranatha , a leading maker of organic and natural nut butters. I had the opportunity to try their peanut butter (which was not affected by the recalls.) Having never tried an organic peanut butter before, I wasn't sure what to expect but my first taste of it was delicious. It actually got even better the more I ate. The creamy no-stir peanut butter has a "real" roasted peanut taste, is super creamy and melts in your mouth. I felt very whole and satisfied after eating this. I love how there's no need to stir it up each time you use it, as that was the one thing I disliked about other peanut butters.

Besides being delicious, Maranatha peanut butters come in a glass jar and have a myriad of health benefits. They're all natural with no artificial flavors, preservatives or colors. They also contain no trans fats. You can read more about the health benefits of nuts here. In addition to the different varieties of peanut butter, Maranatha also has almond butters, and cashew & mac butters. These look equally yummy - I'm itching to try out the creamy almond butter. Check out all the flavors and varieties here.

Maranatha nut butters are conveniently available for purchase on their website. In addition, you can find them at Whole Foods supermarkets. I highly recommend Maranatha for a healthy treat any way, any day!

  1. I've never tried these, I think they sell it at Costco. I'll let you know how I like it. I love good (real) peanut butter.
