The other day my sister commented on the number of Facebook friends that I have and wanted to know who all of these people were. I thought that was an excellent question. Just who are all these people? So I did an analysis of my friends. Here are the results:
Elementary School: 23
High School: 29
Hometown Ballet School: 40
Summer Ballet Programs: 17
College: 51
City Ballet of San Diego Company: 23
Church: 35
Family/Relatives: 22
Former job: 5
Other - friends of friends and the like: 12
I thought it was an interesting exercise, especially to see where I've met people at different stages of my life. I love reconnecting with old friends on Facebook!
heh heh, e-friends
ReplyDeleteI like how you mention me! Meow
ReplyDeleteMost of my friends on Facebook are from High School--I noticed I don't have an current co-workers who are friends on Facebook--guess I like to keep my work and "home" life separate!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting where life takes us. Thanks for being my "church" friend! :)
ReplyDeletethat's interesting. I opened a facebook acct a while back when I was all gung ho about re-establishing friendships. But I've found I am really not a facebook person. Too much time to invest, too many people and I can't tell you how much I hate all those apps! I still have an account since there are a couple of people I like to keep in touch with...though that is not to say I am actually active!
ReplyDeleteI've been using Facebook more and more over the past few months. It's an excellent way to stay connected with family and friends...and the birthday reminders are soooo incredibly handy! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I just love FB!!
