The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to town! A few weeks ago we drove by our local stadium and I saw the sign for the Harlem Globetrotters. Feeling somewhat foolish that I had no idea who they were, I turned to my all knowing husband to clue me in. "They're a basketball team" he said, "And they do cool tricks while playing the game." That was all I needed to hear. Basketball is one of the few sports that I think is actually entertaining...and with this new element of "tricks", well, that's gotta be something to see. Plus, our two year old son is crazy about "basek-ball."
Turns out, they're going to a lot more places besides San Diego though. The 2010 U.S. Magical Memories tour will be hitting 216 cities and will continue through May 2nd. Check the schedule to see if they're coming your city. I'm so excited to be going in February!
Special Discount: Mama Sparkles readers can receive a $7 discount for each ticket purchased with promotional code HGMOM - please note that the code is not valid on VIP or courtside seats, and the discount is available online only. The code is valid until the day before the show.

How fun! That would be a neat event to attend. I remember as a kid watching them on TV as a family. I thought they were the coolest. After watching them, my brothers and I would play basketball like them for days trying to incorporate a few tricks in our basketball game. I bet we were pretty funny to watch :)
