I've been getting questions as to where I've been lately. The short answer is that I've been busy and sick. Not much of an answer I know, but it's the truth nonetheless. Here are a few things that we've been doing to tide you over...I hope to be back posting regularly soon!
The zoo is fun, especially when you get to pet the animals.
The "Skyfari" freaks me out, but Bean had a wonderful time on it.
My cutie.
The in-laws also came down for a visit and we visited the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas for the first time. It's an extremely peacefuI place with an incredible amount of things for kids to do. There's even a railroad model which totally made Bean's day. I highly recommend it!
Last, but not least was Comic-Con! If you've been keeping up with me the last few years, you know that this is one event that we never miss and this year was no exception. This time I got to see Michael Cera and the whole cast of the upcoming Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World movie. I also saw sneak peeks of Nickolodeon's new Kung Fu Panda show, lost my iPod (and then found it), bought some cool stuff and even got to work at the Unshelved booth. You can read my past review of Unshelved here. In fact, go ahead and read all of my Comic-Con related posts. I dare you. I'll spare you all the costume pictures this time around because I've already done that in years past, but more importantly, there's too many darn pictures to wade through.
Me working at the Unshelved booth.
Okay, here's one costume picture. Awesome, right?
Can you guess who this is?
So there's your update. I'm going to bed now (I'm supposed to be sick, remember?) I'll be back again soon though!
I did a double take at the Zoo photo since we were just there--ok it feels like we were just there but I guess it was six months ago and my daughter kept forcing random kids to be a caterpillar so she could be the butterfly.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon! Sounds like your summer is going great otherwise.
ReplyDeleteWe love visiting the zoo. We have season passes so we can go on a whim. It sounds like your summer is going well though.
ReplyDeleteFinally, glad to know you're OK. I was starting to worry. I love that garden too, especailly the bamboo. Love all the pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe just came back from a visit to San Diego and went to the zoo for the first time. It is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSan Diego is perfect!
Sorry to hear you've been sick. Hopefully recovred by now.
ReplyDeleteI never made it to the zoo, the wild animal park, but not he zoo! Oh wow didn't even know there was a Botanic Garden. Looks so great!
