Cool Down With Yoplait Whips

The past couple of days in San Diego have been unbearably hot. Indoors, it's so hot and muggy that I can't breathe properly, and going outdoors is like walking into an oven. I usually say that I'm a wimp when it comes to hot weather because I don't do well in anything above 75 degrees. It was really hot though - everybody was suffering.

My Blog Spark recently gave me an opportunity to try the new Yoplait Whips. This is a whipped yogurt that's incredibly refreshing, especially on a hot day. It's fluffy and light enough to take your mind off the heat - that is, until you finish it. You can take the experience one step further and actually put Yoplait Whips in the freezer for a chilled yogurt indulgence! I was impressed with the variety of flavors: Strawberry Mist, Chocolate, Key Lime Pie, Orange Crème, Chocolate Raspberry, Lemon Burst, Peaches 'N Cream, Raspberry Mousse and Vanilla Creme...but unimpressed with how few my grocery store carried. They only had Chocolate and Vanilla Creme, which actually turned out fine because I usually prefer the basic flavors anyway. And as a rule, I'm not a fan of yogurt but on days like these, Yoplait Whips hit the spot!

  26. My daughter and I discovered a new way to cool down by accident. I had a LOT of coupons for Gogurt. We just stuck them in the freezer, and whenever we wanted a quick snack, we had frozen Gogurt "popsicles." My daughter was begging for this healthy treat everyday of the summer! And it was nice not have all that fat that comes with some of the usual ice cream-type things!
