Veggie Tales: It's A Meaningful Life

My three year old son (and myself) were introduced to the Veggie Tales series a year ago, and we have both become fans! I love the fun, quirky characters and the inspirational messages they contain. Bean loves the songs, bright colors and of course, the veggie characters.

Our most recent addition to our Veggies DVD collection is It's A Meaningful Life. This is a wonderful spinoff of "It's A Wonderful Life", and is a lesson in being content. After a disappointing play in the "Salad Bowl", Larry the Cucumber's dreams of fame and fortune are crushed. Years later, he finds himself still wondering "what if" things had been different.

My son's favorite part has to be when the mysterious train conductor shows up to turn back time. He's a train fanatic, so he was especially excited to see one turn up in Veggie Tales. The DVD also features an original new song "Meant to Be" and also a brand new silly song called "Goodnight Junior." Like all the others, we enjoyed watching this new Veggie Tale together and learning a new valuable lesson!

*I received a copy of the DVD for review purposes.
