A special event is taking place next Tuesday, November 12th at the Rueben H. Fleet Science Center. ScholarShare will be hosting Shannon Miller, who will share her journey from Olympic gymnast to Mompreneur to cancer survivor.
Her company, “Shannon Miller Lifestyle: Health and Fitness for Women” seeks to empower women to make their health a priority through programs, education and awareness. This inspiring and motivating event is free, and will start at 7 p.m. It will be followed by a Q&A session with Shannon.
Shannon's story on her journey from Olympic gymnast to Mompreneur to cancer survivor will inspire and motivate anyone! Regardless of their profession, all women struggle to find time for themselves. They are always on the go, and often serve as the primary caregiver to their family and friends. Shannon wants to empower women with the knowledge and education they need to make informed decisions on health and fitness for themselves and for their family. She asks herself every morning, "How will I empower one woman today?"
